Will Cook has been an active member of the Ottawa music scene for over 25 years. He has fronted numerous bands and played hundreds of shows. 2026 is shaping up to be an exciting year.
There are four new bands coming together, each bringing something a little different to the stage. Among them is The Good North, a special events project featuring Will pairing with singer-songwriter Alanna J. Brown, along with a trio of tribute acts celebrating the music of the Foo Fighters (Kung Foo Fighters), Alanis Morissette (Ironic), and Sheryl Crow (My Favourite Mistake).
At the same time, some familiar favourites continue. The Will Cook Trio will keep its semi-regular run going at the Chateau Lafayette, and Cook N’Hogg will be popping up at venues like the Hard Rock Hotel, Bate Island, and more.
All of this unfolds alongside work on Will’s sixth album of original music, with a release planned before the end of 2026.
