If he could describe obsession as it pertains to the last 20 years, music sits right atop the list of things that Will thinks about A LOT. That was exacerbated in 2020 when he wasn’t able to fulfill part of that obsession through regular gigging. Then, Will buckled down, bought a few microphones for recording various instruments in different contexts, and set himself up to compose and capture original songs in his home studio. By the summer of 2024, Will surpassed writing 100 songs and later in 2024, played a show with a collection of some of his personal favourite songs. This show was a long time in the making, from the earliest days of trying to cop Slash licks in the bedroom at his parent’s house to hitting one of the nicest stages in Ottawa with a band comprised of some friends and favourite musicians. Five albums later, Will is more inspired than ever to write and record music and already has a bunch of songs and ideas underway for the next record. This time around Will is excited about the prospect of increased collaboration.
